    Accomplishment is a composite of many factors. Just because we are blessed with talent -God-given talent for a particular field or project, we find that it is not sufficient.  One's determination and focus is always challenged. Talent alone is not enough.  It comes down to facing the obstacles involved-and there will be obstacles.  Solution:  Find a detour around them and work through them, despite the odds.

     Diligence is continuing, relentlessly, disallowing the bumps in the road to put up an annoying stop sign.  The challenges encountered on the road to achieving our dreams and goals prove to serve us well for the long run.  Only after we have perservered and weathered the storms can we truly call an achievement our own.

     Some view our finished product and remark, "  You make that look so easy."  We smile and know that it was not.  Anything worth striving for has a price tag.  At times, it's an all -out battle pursing our God-given purpose, but when the pathway is lighted by passion we find a way to perservere until our mission is accomplished.  Yet along the paths strewn with problems we experience God's intermitent  joy and peace - true signals we are intrinsicly entwined in our God-given assignment.  Without this restful, joyous reprive, we would surely fail.

     Determination + God  equals astounding success!  The excitement of our calling and the confirmation God is with us propels us toward the mountain top and when we get there, we have no time to count the cost.  We are jubilant in the knowledge it was worth it.
